All FVLS interpreters comply with the FVLS Code of Conduct and act in accordance with the Code of Professional Conduct of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and Good Practice Guidelines set by the Scottish Translation, Interpreting and Communication Forum (known as STICs). FVLS interpreters undergo Disclosure Scotland checks.

Telephone Message Relay service
FVLS also offers a telephone message relay service which is very popular amongst our public service clients, as it is cost-effective and very convenient.
If you have a message that you wish to pass on to your client with limited or no English, please e-mail FVLS on firstname.lastname@example.org with your message and your client name and telephone number. We will e-mail you back asap with a response message from your client.
